Our lab group is passionate about exploring scientific ideas and sharing this with the surrounding community. It is our belief that one of the primary responsibilities of academia and a university is to have a positive impact on the surrounding community, and our lab is dedicated to that in the Appalachian region and rural communities to advance work force, technological and industrial outcomes, and educational opportunities in the region.
